Comment ABout Blended Learning
The
blended classroom is designed to meet the individual needs of student by
allowing teachers to personalize instruction. This strategy can be used
for any subject and any grade level. Blended learning combines
face-to-face and online instruction. It allows students to work with teachers
in school and have online resources at home. It is similar to the flipped
classroom, but with more emphasis on in-class work with the teacher over
video/home content. Project Based Learning is a type of blended classroom.
Students work on projects at home, and in class. In class, they can ask the
teacher for help, and continue on the project at home, with online materials
for help. By having online materials available, students have access to support
when out of the classroom. Students access some material at home and complete
some work at home, while leaving more time during class to get into deeper
context with the teachers.
For
example, There is a teacher applies blended learning in his ICT classes. He gives the
materials through his blog and his students directly visit his blog and follow
his instruction.
Here
are six blended learning techniques: e-Learning, webinars, classroom, role
play, coaching, and OTJ.
In short,
blended learning should be viewed as a
pedagogical approach that combines the effectiveness and socialisation
opportunities of the classroom with the technologically enhanced active
learning possibilities of the online environment, rather than a ratio of
delivery modalities. In other words, blended learning should be approached not
merely as a temporal construct but rather as a fundamental redesign of the
instructional model.

Summary E-Learning
E-Learning
is a learning that uses computer through internet or CD-ROM and DVD, using
images, animation, audio or video. The aim of E-learning is people could reach
their achievement, even if they don not need to attend the class because
E-Learning could do everywhere. E-learning could apply in every level of
school, from elementary.
When the teacher uses
E-learning, the students could study everywhere they want, like in their house,
libraries,
Internet cafes or any other location that has Internet access. The students
could access internet like email, website and look for audio or video to
increase their knowledge because from internet they could get what they want.
Actually,
there are many online tools and applications that the teachers could use in
their E-learning, these are some online tools and applications that the teacher
and the students could use:
And
many more.
In
our life, E-learning could give us some advantages. When we have much time in a
day, and we are free, we could do E-learning along day like what we want. But
when we are busy, and we just could do E-learning for 2 or 3 hours, it never
mind, because E-learning is very flexible for us, it depends on us. We could do
E-learning everywhere and every time that we want. We could do it by using our
laptop or mobile-phone. When we are on they way to somewhere, we could use our
time for doing E-learning. So we will not waste our time. It does not look like
when we study in the class, the time is very limited, when we are in class, we
study, but after that, we could get the material what we want if we do not use
E-learning.
In
the other side, E-learning could give us some disadvantages. Like The learner
could control the students because the time is flexible. The students could
study every time they want, in the other side, the learners have to answer all
the question that students ask. In addition, if we want to do E-learning, not
all of students have the technology. For using the technology, we have to use
many application, but not all of students’ technology, like their computers or
their laptop or their gadget have the same operation system. And sometimes the
connection internet is bad, so the learners could not do E-learning well.
One
thing that we have to know, we should not replace replace conventional learning
activities in class with E-learning completely because something must have a
good side and a bad side. But we could use E-learning to improve our knowledge
and make the students think more and do more for something new.
